Running around all over the metro area today with the kiddies. The other day at the library DD and I picked up a book telling the Greek Myth of "Persephone", such a great interesting story. The book has amazingly beautiful art as well, and in the book Persephone and her mother Demeter wear dresses, so that is what DD and I decided to do today. Not that I need an excuse to wear a dress. :-)
The message of the book is so touching, that a mother loves her daughter so dearly that she cannot function when she is gone in the underworld with Hades. And that is why winter occurs. I feel the same way, hopefully M will never be forced to marry an evil King. LOL.
